Jenn Foltz Cruickshank is a Conservator at the Maryland State Archives (MSA) in Annapolis, Maryland, starting in 1998, when she began as a conservation technician. She specializes in paper artifacts and photographs, custom rehousing and mounting solutions, pest management, and emergency response preparedness. On behalf of the MSA, Jenn participates in community outreach, assisting local small institutions, the archival community, and amateur genealogists. She presents workshops and lectures on handling and storage of paper and photographic collections, emergency preparedness, and pest/fungal management. In 2014, Jenn was a co-presenter on the Council of State Archivists (CoSA) webinar, "Photographic Storage on a Budget". Jenn received a Level 3 Certificate in Collections Preventive Care from the Campbell Center for Historic Preservation Studies (recently renamed The International Preservation Studies Center), and has a BA in Studio Art, with Museum Studies Minor, from Rutgers University.
