As Associate Conservator of Textiles at the Denver Art Museum since 2012, Allison McCloskey specializes in the treatment and preventive conservation of historic and artistic textiles and prepares objects for the museum's rich exhibit schedule. She is particularly intrigued by the challenges presented by composite objects, where a variety of materials respond differently to changes in environment, as well as the care, storage, and display of oversized textiles. She is a graduate of the Winterthur / University of Delaware Program in Art Conservation has worked at the Williamstown Art Conservation Center.
