Christina L . Simms is currently the Assistant Project Manager and Conservator of Objects and Sculpture at McKay Lodge Fine Arts Conservation Laboratory, Inc. The company offers services for paper, objects, sculpture, and paintings conservation. It also currently holds the General Services Administration (GSA) contract for the maintenance and treatment of artwork across the United States and territories.

She recently held research positions at the National Air and Space Museum and the J. Paul Getty Museum. Her areas of interests include: modern materials, aluminum, corrosion control methods, outdoor sculpture, and coatings.
